She has particular expertise in cybersecurity compliance and risk management, having advised clients across sectors on CERT-In directions, incident response frameworks, security obligations in technology contracts, and sectoral cybersecurity mandates.

She brings deep expertise in both contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including IP enforcement, litigation strategy, and trademark, copyright, and patent filings and oppositions. Aparna has represented clients in several landmark IP and technology litigations. Her transactional practice includes advising on tech and IP-heavy commercial arrangements, such as technology licensing, SaaS agreements, joint development contracts, and franchise and content deals. She has also advised on several India entry and structuring mandates for global technology and consumer businesses. Aparna is also a registered Patent Agent in India.
